We all know how special the festival of Raksha Bandhan is and the tons of happiness that suddenly floods into our lives on this exotic day, but let us go a little deeper and take a look at this Crazy Cyclonic Relationship between brothers and sisters.
This insane bond is not only strong but extremely emotional too. They non-stop keep on fighting but are one together the minute they spot a cold enemy trying to enter their zone. The brothers are famous for pulling her hair, stealing the TV remote or even gobbling up all her favorite snacks enraging her so much that she’d totally abandon him but they are the same ones who are protective and extremely sensitive when she’s had her heart broken.
The sisters are no less when it comes to giving their brothers a hard time, whether it is spilling their beans to parents or poking fun in front of their friends, sisters are always number one on their hit list but they are the same ones who keep their secrets safe and feed them goodies after a tough fight. Such is this crazy bond, can’t stay too close but can’t even stand being too far.
This bond is a mix of everything, they call themselves brothers and sisters but to be honest they are more best friends than anything else. The Friendship between them is fresh and full of sweet & sour toppings. They have seen each other at their worst and still love each other the most. Friendship is not the only thing they share, When it comes to being hungry the sister lovingly cooks for hours in the kitchen and then feeds him like a mother or when she is running low on cash and the parents are so against any more expenses, he comes to her rescue, with warning eyes and pockets full of cash.
With Raksha Bandhan around the corner, you shall see these minions suddenly get civil and sprinkle love and respect on each other. The sister ties the Rakhi while the brother secretly hides her gift away and soon the chase begins all over again.

Raksha Bandhan is such a time of the year when this cute #PyaarKaBandhan is missed because this is the day when the brother-sister bond is celebrated with fun and excitement. Let’s revisit some of the precious sibling memories of a lifetime in this blog today:
Stealing Chocolates:From inside the refrigerator, from behind the flower vase, from inside the school bag, from the medicine box of grandparents – there were no places left where you didn’t try to hide your favourite chocolates. But every time your sibling succeeded in stealing them leading to fighting for half an hour to a whole day sometimes. But again both you and your sibling never forgot to bring chocolate from a relative’s or friend’s place when chocolates were served there. That’s the whole charisma of this relationship – the fights and quarrels are just superficial.
Fighting for TV Remote:This is one of the most common fights between brother and sister. Even when both have agreed to watch the same channel, still, the one having the TV remote had powers more than the Prime Minister. And actually, that was the whole beauty of watching something on TV when you had to fight for the remote. Now, when you don’t find your sibling fighting for the TV remote, you watch TV with half a mind. It happens with me big time.
Blackmailing Was Fun:Any sibling story would be incomplete without the “blackmailing” episodes. There were numerous incidents in childhood and teenage that used to be the ingredients of this blackmailing. Divulging the name of your crush/lover, spreading the news of failing in a subject, or telling mom about those secret night parties you went climbing the wall – there are many stories in your sibling’s list. Maybe you bribed him/her sometimes or used some of their “secret stories” to blackmail them back.
Who Will Get That Window Seat?Whenever grandpa or dad used to take you all to picnic or some relative’s place – the big fight used to be with that window seat. It continued to train and bus journeys too. The beauty of nature, monuments, and everything else outside the vehicle used to be enticing to the eyes. Now, when you get the window seat to fly back home, you get the glimpses of those days – isn’t it? And now when you are travelling together, you give away the window seat to your sibling without any hesitation. This is another sign of your beautiful #PyaarKaBandhan.
Who Would Eat the Last Cookie?:Oh My God! I have a dangerous memory with “cookies”. My brother pushed me so hard that I fell on the floor and hurt my elbow badly leading to 1 week of bed rest and bandage and a month of pain. Till then, he never had the audacity to finish that last piece of cookie from the jar. In fact, it is quite funny that, if he sees only a piece remaining, he quickly brings another packet in memory of that fight. While mom serves us cookies, we always divide the last piece from the plate. I am sure, you guys also have some crazy memories with “the last piece of cookie or cake”.
Borrowing & Asking Money:When in need you suddenly see that your hidden coin or note in your pencil box or from the pages of the book is missing and you knew it was your sibling. When asked, they used to come up with smart answers like – “you didn’t earn that money – that belongs to dad”. And you had no answer to retaliate. In case when you changed the address for your money and they couldn’t reach that place, their behaviour used to change suddenly. They sounded extra-sweet because they knew only you can save them.
Embarrassing Nick Names:Every sibling must agree to the fact their brothers and sisters have the most embarrassing nicknames for them. The nicknames are so pathetic that it cannot be addressed in public. But remember, only your sibling had or still has the right to call you by that nickname.
Tittle-Tattle About Relatives:You may not have any common habits but all your siblings do share something called “common gossiping habit”. During any family get-together or after the celebration, all your siblings gather to gossip “who did what and how?” This session used to be important back in childhood, teenage, and till today you find it quite refreshing.
Standing Up For Each Other’s Dreams:You know you have grown up (both in age and in your relationship) when you stand up for each other’s dreams and don’t fuss about stolen chocolates anymore. Maybe your parents were against your dream career but your brother/sister has backed you emotionally during those days. You cannot thank that person enough even today. These are one of those big moments when you actually felt that this #PyaarKaBandhan is unbreakable.
Lecturing After A Break Up:Everyone goes through this phase. Your older sibling must have been a great shoulder to cry on during those days. Because he/she is experienced. The inspirational lines and warm hugs worked like medicine to your broken soul.
Brothers and sisters are connected throughout their lives by a special bond of love, care, and friendship. No matter how much they tease, irritate or fight, the fact is they can’t imagine their life without each other.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
What topics do you think you’ll write about?
Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
